TUMBLING

Most of our elite gymnasts work tumbling sessions within their normal training periods, but we are now introducing a class specifically for tumbling.

The session will start with a warm up and body preparation, and then proceed to our competition standard tumble track and foam pit.  The moves involved can be extremely spectacular and dynamic, requiring spatial awareness, co-ordination, power strength stamina and courage.

The class is designed to suit all abilities, with breakdowns available for those learning basic skills.  The aim eventually is to perform a series of somersaults and twists along the 25metre track, but plenty of support will be on hand for those who need help on the way.

Class times

Mondays         5.00 – 6.30
